“Communication skills are an essential component in the education of
engineering students to facilitate not just students’ education but also to prepare
them for their future careers.”
Marc Riemer, Faculty of Engineering, Monash University (2007)
Communication is also key for better team collaboration and cooperation. Ultimately, effective workplace communication helps drive better results for individuals, teams, and organizations. (BetterUp, 2022). For an engineer, communication is just as important as technical knowledge as it is the main channel of convey both technical and non-technical information to members of various departments. For example, engineering managers communicate with clients and their own supervisors about new projects. They also relay project parameters and deadlines to their reports, while providing updates to their managers and clients. When engineering students are able to cultivate and advance their communication skills during their education, they will be well-prepared to engage in effective workplace communication, becoming a valuable team player and boosting their work efficiency. Not only will they be producing excellent work results, the former engineering students will also be able to boost their standing in the workplace, thus providing a head start in their career path. Therefore, communication skills are essential components in the education of engineering students, especially to prepare them for their future careers.

Along with this your response can be seen as slightly long winded. But other than these errors this is a well written and well executed blog post.
